Steph Curry closing in on Ray Allen's all time 3pt record

Closing In: Most 3-Pointers in a season: Ray Allen 269 (2005-06); @StephenCurry30 has 249 with 4 games to play. Will he do it?

This nice play they primarily use to free up shooters in the half-court called "Elevator doors"

I love that play, works like a charm every time.

Yeah, that's a very effective play... Even more effective when one of the screeners moves with the defender trying to go around the double screen, which I saw in at least 3 of those clips.

Yeah not every team can do it, gotta have guys that can consistently set solid screens.

Anyway, I'm going to venture a guess and say Curry won't get the record. He'd have to hit what, around 5 threes a game? Don't think it'll happen.

Man, I love his game. If it weren't for those chronic ankle problems...

It's a real treat watching Steph Curry operate. Guy plays like he's a seasoned old pro and he has such a great fundamentally strong approach to his shooting.

Did they run that play against us in our latest loss at GS ( didn't watch the game) ? Because I'm sure this is a set which could burn us every time they call it

They don't need something so sofisticated to free a three point shooter against us :man10:

So how many does he need to hit to get it?
He got a lot of them against us

He's the purest 3pts shooter I've seen ... only his ankles could prevent him to end up with the most 3pts made ever

dam I thought Allen shot was nice and effortless, Curry is just as pure of a shooter, seems more comfortable shooting on the move than spot up, makes it even more scary to defend this guy :freak2:

Allen has done it for a long time but his % isn't close to Curry one ... Allen release as pure as it is looks more robotic , Curry has more touch/feel to it .... AND Steph is playing with nobodies , he would average 55%+ from 3 on this Heat team

Considering the fact that Steph actually takes a lot of difficult shots with defenders in his face, or pull up 3's on the break, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he hit 55%+ playing off of a superstar as a spot up guy.

I hope he chucks like no tomorrow for Ray's record.

It will be interesting to see what that jealous insecure A-hole does when/if his record gets broken.
