Stephen Jackson will not return to the Hawks next season

I saw this article in the local paper (AJC) and thought I would share it with yall.
AJC: Jackson won't return to Hawks

The Hawks will have only four players under contract going into the offseason. Stephen Jackson said Sunday that he will not pick up the option on the second year of his two-year, $2.1 million deal --- which shouldn't come as a surprise, considering he rejected a three-year, $10 million offer from the San Antonio Spurs last summer.

"I'm free after this year," Jackson said. "I'm totally free. I don't know if I'm going to be here next year or not. I know I'll have a job somewhere next year. No matter what, I'm going to be happy."

Should we try to get him? I think he would be a nice addition to the Lakers, he sure is having a very good year with the Hawks this year and is showing the league what he is capable of doing.

Why he didn't sign with championship team??? It was a stupid move to sigh with Hawks!

He decided not to sign with the Spurs because he thought he was gonna get a big time offer. But all he got was a 1 year from Atlanta for under a million.

I would take him in a second but he air balls more 3's then he hits, and he takes a lot. He's 82-252 from 3.

Let the Bobcats get him.

Something about a lackluster, attitude heavy overrated small forward that shoots too much and plays minimal to no defense tells me that the Lakers have no need for him.

He was an idiot for not signing with the spurs but, really he wanted too much for petesakes the guy wanted a starting clause on his for being a laker he has much talent but, he has an ego probelm and the lakers don't need that

Don't sign him. He has no work ethic.
Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Stephen Jackson sucks, I don't think the Lakers or another contender will sign him. He blew it when he turned down the Spurs and doomed himself to playing for mediocre teams.
