Steve Blake Discussion: Traded To Warriors

I really love watching Blake run the 2nd squad. He plays so well with guys who move. He would have 2-4 more assist if MWP could finish around the paint. lol.

Not to be a jerk, but I thought for sure you'd be on him for missing some shots.

Maybe being teammates with Nash has helped with some of the finer tricks of the PG trade as well.

Shot is off in March but his assists are up ... does a good job at developing a chemistry with the 2nd unit players ... happy for Blake , he's a hard worker and always giving his all

he's doing a good job running the offense.

hopefully he can pick up the defensive intensity, harris is going to be a handful again.

good on Korver in the 4th. never left him and never have him space to shoot. something Meeks Kobe etc failed to do although Meeks did try but double screens is hard for anyone to get through. our team defense isn't good enough to counter that for any team

I don't expect him to duplicate this, but these are the types of games we knew he was capable of when we signed him. Man he was good, hit huge shots, hustled on D and really all over the court, fantastic game.

This was the old Portland Steve Blake that used to do that to us.

Let's be honest... Blake's production & ability to run the second unit has been probably the biggest difference maker in our season... Keep it up Stevie...

Amazing, just amazing! Props.

Did Blake find a way to mention Jesus Christ in that interview after the game? :man11:

Amazing game from him today.

Yet as I watched him Monday, I could not help think how little it mattered and how right he is. He is not fading into the shadows. He does not know how to go out that way.[.]

It was funny. I missed the beginning of the interview, then I turn around and Blake stares into the camera and says:

"... Jesus Christ."

I have to admit I laughed. :man10:

i remember someone making a joke earlier in the season about the whole "we just need __________ to come back from injury" whether it was nash, dwight, pau. then at some point we had them all back, and we were still struggling. someone joked we just needed blake to come back. it was no joke.
