lol... Im not even go into it with the fans this season.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

C'mon puffy, Blake's been absolute garbage this preseason, I'm just having a little fun. I know he's here to stay and he's starting SG with Kobe out, so of course I hope he does well. Last night was a great game for him, he battled on defense with Hayward all night, and he should have been dominated by him but he wasn't, he held his own. On offense, that was just ridiculous, 7-7, and it would have been 8-8 if not for that moving screen on Nash, he was on fire. I'd love for his shot to just get on track, it's been short so often this preseason, last night it was finally finding falling.

I know everyone is having fun but I cringe every time someone is called garbage. Especially when they are working hard. It seems like our entire team is a bunch of hard workers this year.

I obviously don't mean he himself is garbage, I like Blake, I only mean he has played like garbage. Most nba players work really hard, it's how they get where they are and stay there, doesn't excuse garbage play because they work or try hard, it's not personal, that's just how it goes.

Actually, I don't think anyone would actually call Blake itself garbage. Anyone who's listen to him and watched him through the years know he's actually a pretty nice guy.

I won't bash his game for now. He's been pretty bad this preseason (ok, awful, save for the last game), but he did earn a little more of confidence from my part with the way he finished last season.

My comment was directed at anyone in particular but the overall posting about Blake. Last season I did a lot of posting combating the "Blake is garbage" post. I personally like what Blake brings to the team. I also know that many don't. This season I'll just sit and read what the fans have to say instead of joining the discussion. I will agree that when he isn't aggressive with his shot (if it is falling or not) he is limiting himself. Other than that I love what the guy brings to the team. I am glad he doesn't worry about the critics cause the guy brings night in and night out.

This guy was garbage in the 4th. Other than that one setup for Pau towards the end of the game I don't think he did much else. I'm not saying he's the sole reason why we lost but going 2-12 definitely doesn't help either.

What the hell happened to the Steve Blake from last season? :bang:

G. T. F. O.

How many times are we going to go through this?

What are we waiting for or expecting?

I've had enough of defending this garbage of a player.

If you are on the team, just pass the ball. Don't shoot. Please.

I really dont see how people say he's a good defender...yes he's "fiesty" but so was Sasha and both tend to get lite up on a regular.

So incredibly tired of seeing him play the 2. He has NO business playing the SG position. None. Please stop this experiment D' Antoni. :bang:

Play him at the 1 or not at all.

Same coach who experimented with World Peace at the 2? Not surprised. Expect more oddities.

He is "sucking" because Damnphony has him playing the 2 when he is not a 2. He is being destroyed defensively. It's not his fault that Damnphony thinks someone who weighs at most 170 and is at most 6'1" can guard Klay Thompson. He is a point guard. He should be a backup 1, nothing more nothing less.

I agree he's playing out of position, but 'Antoni isn't making him shoot like crap. It's always some excuse for his sucking too, it's his 4th year here now, he's never going to be what we hoped. His shot looks awful right now, like he's struggling to get it to the rim. If it weren't for the good assist numbers he'd look awful all around right now.

He sucks. He played under Phil, Brown, MDA...

He is what he is. An average/sub-par player. At some point we need to stop making excuses for these players and call a spade a spade. They are old and can't match the same skill level of today's NBA. League is getting faster, stronger and younger, we have 3 of the worst people to match that. (Blake,Pau,Nash)

I'll defend Blake on this point:

Not his fault that our head coach wants him to guard Monte Ellis.
