Stoudamire pleads innocent to drug charges

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Portland Trail Blazers guard Damon Stoudamire pleaded innocent to drug charges Friday.
Stoudamire and his attorneys didn't appear in court for the arraignment. Instead they waived their court appearance and entered an innocent plea in the Pima County Consolidated Justice Court in Tucson.
A pretrial conference for Stoudamire was set for Aug. 28.
Stoudamire was arrested July 3 at Tucson International Airport after authorities were called to the security checkpoint. The former University of Arizona star allegedly had marijuana in his pocket.
He was cited for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia
