If I had my druthers, I'd go with Anthony.
There are so many "out of highschool the next great thing" guys that fade away. It's amazing how much they are gambling on this unproven high school player.
It's like high school in general. You leave highschool with a 4.5 GPA, all honors this and that, only to get to college and find out that the place is chock full of highschool phenoms that can't keep pace with the college rigors.
It's already a tremendous leap from the college ranks to the pros, imagine the leap that yet another highschool baller will have to make.
When I was in Highscool, the season was about 20 games, with tournements around Christmas, etc.
From 20 games a season, travelling by bus, to 82 games a year travelling by plane, changing time zones, sleeping in hotels ( I have trouble sleeping in hotels, too many unsual noises), being hounded by the press, and probably a thousand other new things to deal with, in addition to playing ball at a pro level
At least Kobe was more prepared as he travelled with his family internationally.
I hope James is up to the task. But for now, I doubt it.
