Three team trade confirmed

the trade between the kings,spurs and pacers is now confirmed.
Just heard on sc. Kings got Brad miller, Pacers got Danny Ferry and Scott Pollard, and Spurs got Ron Mercer and hedo turkoglu.[/code]

plus I think their contracts end next year giving them flexibility.

pacers got screwed in this deal. they get Pollard and Ferry.

what happened to never helping the NBA Champion improve ... or is that just a rule the rest of the league follows when the Lakers are Champs.

I understand to make this trade work between the Kings and Pacers they needed to bring in another team with cap space. But if teams like the Kings and Pacers feel like giving away players, why not be charitable to teams that need the help (i.e. bottom feeders like the Clippers, Nuggets, Bulls)?

Spurs brought in their cap space and Danny Ferry(?) to make this trade happen. Why wouldn't the Clippers, Nuggets or Bulls be interested in this trade? Especially the the Clippers ... If I was the Kings or Pacers, I would rather send Turkolu and Mercer to the Clippers rather than the 2003 NBA Champions.

Why wouldn't or couldn't teams like the Clippers, Nuggets or Bulls want in on this trade? Can these other teams not match the cap space required? Are the Pacers so in love with Danny Ferry? Please explain.

the spurs are stupid

they coudla saved all that cap room for a big time free agent like Kevin Garnett next summer. But instead they used it on unproven center rasho nesterovic, "shadowed by stojakovic" Hedo Turkoglu, and "traded every year" ron mercer

but yea i think a team like the nuggetts coulda used hedo and ron

They'll still have cap space for next year because Mercer, Turkoglu, and some other players are coming off the books. Hopefully they won't have enough money to sign a star though, they are going to have to resign Ginobli to a long term deal...
