Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

Regaurding the Boston story, it seems Danny Ainge is really trying to obtain Davis but only offers E. Williams and Battie. It is possible that Vin Baker could be thrown in as well.

man the michael dickerson situation is very sad...i mean hes only been in tha league like 4-5 yrs! That would be very sad to see a young player like him retire at tha age of 25-28...i mean...damn that sucks!

i really like the pick up of k anderson by tha pacers, that gives them a solid point guard that can handle the ball and distribute, and really takes tha pressure off of Tinsley...Anderson did a great job in Boston and i felt that the reason why Boston fell a couple spots in the playoffs last year (#3 to #6) is bcuz of tha lack of a true point guard, i mean they had BREMER and DELK playin the Point, and delk is not a true point guard and bremer was a rookie playin under pressure....indiana should start K anderson...

ANy more news on tha nick van exel situation?

Dickerson situation is awful...I think that Jerry's doing the right thing, it's just that his team is not living up to expectations...quota Mike Miller's back and now Dickerson's problems. I've even gained some newfound respect to the troy Bell/Dahntay Jones signings. Now they want Nazr Mohammed. Not a smart move, but can only be achieved by trade. Let's see...Shane Battier for Nazr is not too shabby.

Thks V for the Kenny Anderson situation..that guy needed minutes and obviously he couldn't get it done last year, but this year shouldn't be much different. He's not a guy off the bench; he only effects in as a starter. Backing up Tinsley. It's hard to get a starting job if you're a veteran, isn't it?

That Eric Williams trade is outrageous and sides with Toronto's advantage a lot.

Steve Smith looks pretty happy with Miami, he should go there.

the sad thing about the Dickerson situation is that he showed a lot of promise and he has to retire after only playing in the league for 5 years. He hasn't played a full season since the 99-00 season. Last year he only played 6 games, and the year before that he only played 4 games.
