I think if Kobe plays next year it'll go like this:

1. Shaq
2. Kobe
3. Duncan
4. KG
5. T-Mac/Iverson

i cant choose between iverson and t-mac cuz t-mac is gettn better every year...and iverson is pretty much stayin consistent in his scorin...thats a toss up right there...anyone else disagree with this list?

oh yea if kobe doesnt play:

1. Shaq
2. Duncan
3. KG
4. T-Mac
5. Iverson/Carter

i have a feeling carter is gonna be back this season and avg around the same he did when he was healthy (25 ppg)

I'm with you Fab4...that's a good list. I would love to see VC that high in the top 10, but as of right now, I probably would put him at 10. He looked incredible in the USA qualifying round, but if he has a year anything like last year, then his stock will drop again. I would pick Dirk over Webber....not cause I'm hating...cause if that was the case, I would place Duncan at 10....no, its cause Webber has had the most time in this league to do something and hasn't done it yet. Dirk is still fresh in the league and he at least took his team to the WCF, before getting injured, faster then Webber did with the queens. But this list looks the best to me.

Good Year:
Shaq
Kobe
Duncan
TMac
Carter
Pierce
B.Davis
Brand
Francis
Q.Richardson

Bad Year/Ok Year:
Garnett
Webber
Parker
Mourning
Walker
Van Horn

I have a feeling Webber and Mourning will be badling injuries and Tony Parker will have trouble. Garnett's numbers will go down and Antoine Walker will be trying too hard. Just my gut feeling.

The year before Miller came along he put up 14 a game, then he had reduced playing time, now Miller is gone and Richardon and Jaric will have free range.

I feel sorry for Darius Miles. He had his break-out season with the Clips, then gets traded to th Cavs. Brand, Maggatte, Miles(from 02) would be pretty feared this year if they hadn't have traded him for that idiot Miller.

oh yeah if the Clips have survived we'd have a strong lineup of:

PG: Andre Miller
SG: Corey Maggette
SF: Lamar Odom
PF: Elton Brand
C: Michael Olowokandi

Backups:
PG/SG/SF: Marko Jaric
SG/SF: Quentin Richardson
SF/PF: Darius Miles
SG: Eric Piatkowski
PG: Keyon Dooling
C: Melvin Ely
PF: Chris Wilcox

Can you imagine a lineup as powerful as that?

4. KG (get outta the first round!!!!!!!!!!!)
5. AI (1,500% each night)
6/7/8 da truth/t mac/j kidd (three way tie)
9. Dirk

Close Runner ups (no specific order)
Stevie Franchise

Jerry stackhouse-now that jordan is gone, he has to carry the load and has the ball to himself more than ever.

Elton brand - very very durable, will score 20 and grab 10 each night, extremely dependable, and with the loss of miller and odom, will carry the load for the clips.

Baron Davis

Ray allen- has his own team, deadly [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] shooter, fresh legs.

Webber won't be that high, because he will be injured for some of the year, and will be recovering from the injury during the rest of the season, so I expect for him not to start playing decently until after the all star game, and that isn't enough to get him into the top 10

i wouldnt rate Amare THAT high just yet, maybe in another 2 years, but hes got the potential to be top 10 in 2 or 3 years! I definetly think the suns are the most underrated team in the league along with the hornets...each team has solid players that are underrated(mashburn, davis, marbury, marion).

I change my mind about webber..he is gonna be injured thru november and possibly december...i feel bad for him that he has to start the season after 2 months...he never gets a fresh start...but thats what he gets for talkin so much [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] and not backin it up! So hes not top 10...

and the clipppers...if they ever coulda stayed healthy and given all of their players contracts...they maybe coulda made the playoffs...its unfortunate that their situation grew worse during the season...good thing they got a new head coach, re-signed the 2 players they NEEDED to re-sign(brand and maggette), and let players go who had egos to handle(ODOM, miller, Olowokandi) but i know those 3 guys will become all stars eventually, they jus never fit in with tah clipper system...

Im lookin forward to seein whos got game this year, whos gonna step it up, who is gonna be a fluke once again, and who is gonna shine outta nowhere(kinda like what gilbert arenas did...i think mike dunleavy is ready to explode this year too) and i think the Nets are gonna get screwed this year with mourning...but they will still do really good this year, and Grant Hill is DONE IMO

I think Marion is overrated... he absoultely did NOT show up in Playoff form this year...

Watch Amare, he's gonna progress like Tim Duncan did-- very quickly...

everyone is sayin Amare is gonna explode next year...

i agree but then i disagree...i wanna see him explode...but i jus dont think it'll be THIS year...maybe the year after....he'll get his 16 and 10 this year tho...

marion aint overrated...i believe it was only his 2nd time to tha postseason? He'll learn...hes still young

future of suns-Amare and Stephon. they are a very exciting team to watch, and are one of my favorite teams besides the lakers :jam2: ....Just watch Amare will be the next big PF in the league. He will explode and turn out be be a great player, and teams will start wishing they picked him with their pick instead of Yao, who has health issues; and J. Williams, who is hurt because of his bike incident.

Yea its unfortunate with Yao and Jay, both have problems..who knows when Jay Williams will play again...and who knows when Yao will get over this hypertension thing...

SOO many teams missed out on Amare...i believe that the Knicks and Clippers will b kickin themselves...the knicks picked a SOLID PF tho in Nene but then traded him for injury prone mcdyess and got screwed from there...and the clippers selected 2 PFs with the 8th and 12th pick...i dunno why they did that but whatever i guess it'll pay off now....the winners of that draft were definetly phoenix and miami with amare and caron

I can definetly see Amare as the next big thing in the NBA at the power forward position, i mean he showed up both duncan and robinson! even tho they lost, he put up quite a battle against the league's best power forward and one of the best centers of all time in david robinson...
