They Warriors weren't done yet, they decided to add Calbert Cheaney to the team. This will be the 5th stop of his career.

Good pickup for GSW. Calbert will add a veteran presence in the Locker Room with the young'nz over in GS.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

not a bad signing. Calbert really improved last season in which he shot a whopping 49% from the field, especially good for a small forward. I remember that at draft day that everyone said that this guy played good D and had a killer stroke, but he didn't live up to expectations all that time. At Utah he hardly scored either, just averaging a little over 8 a game in like 28 minutes or something. Not too productive, but not a bad player for the Warriors, considering they've got enough people to ballhog the ball, plus they need veterans. :pee7:

they are always slow and I think that he is in the process of signing, it will probably become official tomorrow or at the latest in a couple of days, depending on how long it takes to come to terms with the details of the contract
