This game is OVA
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

I hate to say it, but Memphis could really use a perimeter scorer like Rudy Gay.

:man11: Well, if Miami is in the Finals I will now root for the Spurs, if it's Indiana, I'll be rooting for them. I would much rather see Duncan get his 5th in 5 tries than LeBron his second and Wade his third. Man I'm pulling for Indy though, a Spurs-Pacers finals is the NBA's worst nightmare

If Miami did beat the Spurs though, ugh, it would be hailed as redemption for 2007, "LeBron bests Duncan for revenge".

This.

I really think a IND-SA series would awesome. They both seem very evenly matched. I know the NBA rating will be down but if your a true fan of basketball that would be very fun to watch.

Come on Indiana!!

I'm just gonna be a biased NBA fan and say if there's a Pacers/Spurs finals I'm rooting for the Pacers, if there's a Spurs/Miami finals I'm rooting for the Spurs, but the Spurs just can't beat Miami, UGH!!! So now I gotta see another big 3 parade in Miami.

I don't know that that's true, and I'd throw regular season records against eachother out the window whatever it was. I think the Spurs have as good a chance against Miami as anyone left, plus they have the experience the Grizzlies and Pacers don't. I could see that being a long Finals, the Spurs are well balanced and have a lot of shooters, have a top PG, play defense, and Duncan looks better than he has in years. They might have no one to guard LeBron, but the Heat have no one to guard Duncan.

Too bad. Grizzlies really showed everything you love to see in a team. But the Spurs... one of the finest put together franchises in the league history when all is said and done. Their composure and big game play is legendary and they added to that legacy tonight. As well as in Game 2. Grizzlies fought so hard in both games but when OT happened in both cases they just couldn't reach that next level.

Spurs potentially winning 5 titles in 5 appearances in a 13-14 year span is pretty damn impressive. Even more so when the core 3 guys account for 4 of them if they win it all this year. Got to give credit to Pop guy is amazing, loved how he benched all the starters after the horrid start and everyone plays along and together.

Love me done Danny Green, even Bonner has provided huge sparks off the bench.

If the Spurs are going to beat Miami, they're going to have to play through Duncan more IMO. The frontcourt is Miami's weakpoint. Hibbert had 29 points in Indy's win against Miami in Game 2.

Hell if the spurs continue to shoot 3's the way they have, they could beat anyone.

Similar result, IMO. I think they are better defensively with Prince and worse offensively. But I don't know, I think Rudy Gay is a bit overrated and kind of a chucker to be honest.

Memphis does not have a "Kobe" and that's a problem. They play good D, have nice chemistry, but you need a closer who can beat a team by himself in OT if necessary.
