Vinny Del Negro is SO fired :man10:

Also, PROPS to Memphis. That's a real team, they play with balls, and with poise. If only they had a go-to scorer and a couple of shooters and they could really contend.

boo. this means they'll probably get a competent coach.

well, pondexter and bayless played the shooter role tonight, but yeah, they don't have a guy who can create shots from the perimeter very effectively. they don't miss gay a ton, but he was the one who could do that for them.

Oh and Blake Griffin is a little b****. He pulled Randolph to the ground around the neck, then when they got down there he wanted no part of him, he was like eek get off me.

He looked like a kid with claustrophobia that was being held down and being tickled in a small room. He couldn't get out of there fast enough.

That was satisfying to watch :man10:

Hilarious how those floppers can complain about everything. There was a play in the 4th where Tony Allen got the offensive rebound and went up for the put back. CP3 and Butler both hacked him right in front of the ref. Foul was called. I mean it was blatant as can be. And the Clippers still complained like they got screwed over. CP3 is such a dirty little prick running into Marc like that. Got what he deserved. I don't know what Randolph said to their bench when he got ejected but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Billups did an even worse one on Conley IMO.... it was on a much more likely play to injure someone. His little pull on his neck while they were on the floor shows that he's all punk as well....

How the hell did Griffin get a tech for hitting Allen in the face? Shouldn't it be either a regular foul or flagrant? If that was Dwight it would've been a flagrant no doubt?

The Clippers were just exposed, plain and simple. Bad coaching(understatement), a front court with poor fundamentals, and bad defense. One more thing, I might get a lot of flack for this, but CP3 overrated, and is not a superstar.

I've been a closet Grizzlies fan for a while(about 2 years probably) and they are one of the few teams I really enjoy rooting for outside of LAL. The Clippers certainly looked like a very formidable team going into the series, my gut was telling me the Grizzlies could and would take it. Ultimately, it took 6 but it was laughably close to 4 or 5 really. Grizzlies played with harmony, they executed, they ground out possession after possession, they wore out the Clippers and never made anything easy for them. That's a great style of basketball and one that I hope we get so see more of. Pretty much the only remaining bright spot of the postseason for me.

Of the top 5 MVP candidates, CP3 is the only one who got bounced in the 1st round

Kobe hurt....Lebron, Melo and Durant advanced

Two game lead...feeling good about themselves. Billy Crystal was right when he flashed on camera that the series will be over in six games. I can't wait for what their L.A. Times Sports page cheerleader T.J. Simers will write in his next column. He has called them losers and fleas. Can he go any lower?

makes me smile... The JV squad was getting too much attention
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

If the Pacers can make space, I'd like Paul to go to Indiana... give the Heat another rival.
In the real world, the day Steph awoke at 9 a.m. to begin his Ustream show, Kobe Bryant probably awoke at the same time, even if it was 6 a.m. in California, and lifted weights.

I don't mean a guy who will take a bunch of shots, I just mean a guy who can score on ISO, which you need IMO because at some point your set will turn into that, especially late in games.
They have Randolph on the block, but I'm not sure about his effectiveness.
