If the Pacers can make space, I'd like Paul to go to Indiana... give the Heat another rival.

That would be great

I'd be surprised if Paul leaves. The amount of money and exposure he'll get on a team with Biff in a large market along with the extra 30M will outweigh any other potential opportunity out there. Indiana is one of the the smallest markets in the league. Why give up a year, 25 to 30 million to go to a small market team that is no closer than his current team is?

My guess is that he'll end his career a Clipper.

Agreed. If anything one of Blake Griffin or Deandre Jordan need to be moved. Blake is obviously not getting traded, so I'm looking at DJ getting moved.

Two multi-million dollar bigs that can't be depended on come playoff time. Both fold like lawn chairs because their games or lack of game doesn't translate when the lobs stop flying and the refs swallow the whistles.

BG isn't ready for playoff basketball. I don't care if he had an ankle sprain, Z-Bo has a 1 inch vertical and gets the job done because he is physical and actually understands the game to dominate against guys that are 10x the athlete he is. Blake has nothing, no post game, no jumpshot, just dunks and flops.

DJ is worse. His post defense is terrible, his offense is worse, he's like the athletic version of JaVale McGee on steroids.

Clips aren't going anywhere with those two holding down a majority of the cap.

Yup. If Paul leaves he's running from his legacy IMO..... the legacy of not being able to raise a team when it counts. As you noted.... make him a scorer and take away the lob catchers and what do you have? A 6' point guard 20 feet from the hoop dominating the ball as your primary scorer/player. There have been quite a few small point guards better than Paul ever will be that have had the same fate in the playoffs.

I'm happy for the Grizzlies they are the only team left I'm rooting for in the West

I never thought Mike Conley would have a better career than Greg Oden

People seem to forget he was a talent in his own right

L.A. is a big market for sure, but the Clippers will always play second fiddle to the Lakers, and I'm sure it's no fun to always be in the Lakers shadow, no matter how well you're playing. Plus, I see Indiana as being better geared (assuming they re-sign West) to make a deep run in the playoffs, something lob city isn't.
In the real world, the day Steph awoke at 9 a.m. to begin his Ustream show, Kobe Bryant probably awoke at the same time, even if it was 6 a.m. in California, and lifted weights.

Yeah... He's probably the most trigger happy when it comes to T's and Ejections in the league, he certainly seems to ENJOY giving them out the most. I Thought it was pretty telling when the commentator said "Classic Joey" because everyone knows his track record.

Somehow I didn't find it as distasteful as other Joey blow ups...... :man10:

The last small PG that was the "man" on his team and won a chip was Isiah Thomas. And that's because the Bad Boys would beat up on anybody who laid a hand on him.

With today's rules and David Stern's fines for even the lightest bit of contact, there's no way CP3 will ever get the kind of protection Thomas got. That's partially why he flops constantly.

That's who I'm rooting for too.

Will it happen? Probably not, but I can hope.

Nate Archibald comes to mind as well and he was better than CP3.....and he didn't win until he was at the end of his career on the 81 C's......
