CP3 and his huddles under the basket before every 2nd FT the Grizz were shooting ... punching ball material ...

I like this Grizz team a lot , unfortunately I don't think they are going to win this series ... well at least they didn't choke like last season so far ....

yeah, even two years into his career i thought he was a bust. he made great strides in the past couple of years. he went from poor man's avery johnson to rich man's avery johnson.

And now i remember why i hate the FLOPPERS so much....their fans are complaining about "calls" now...they're actually blaming the refs for getting BLOWN OUT in 2 straight games....are you EFFFING KIDDING ME?!?!

I picked Clippers to win, but I BADLY want the Grizzlies to smack them around and win this in 6 games. Oh how sweet it would be to see the Floppers have their best regular season EVER and they still end up losing in the first round. Please God let this happen.

Marc Gasol has fast become one of my favorite players to watch.

An old school type center with a jumpshot. Almost Hakeem like without the agility, certainly with the post moves though.

Wish we could've kept him and sent Bynum to Memphis instead.

He reminds me of a smaller and more mobile (in his NBA days anyway) Arvydas Sabonis..... fundamentally sound, smart and clutch.

It'd be great if the Lakers at their worst were only 2 playoff wins wose than the clippers at their best.

That's a good comparison. I hated Sabonis because he was a jailblazer but he was very talented. If I recall correctly he suffered some injuries prior to coming to the NBA which robbed him of his mobility. From what people said he was an absolute beast.

4 minutes have gone by in this game and the Clippers have already flopped 5-6 times. It's disgusting and anyone that is rooting for them to win it all, I don't understand.....

How can you root for these guys? :disagree:

The Griz are making Paul a scorer in the first half. The rest of the team is getting out of sync. Biff looks disinterested out there.....

Honestly, I didn't even know Mike Conley existed until last year.

While yes, that might be a little bit of an exaggeration, but the dude has been sooooo far under the radar, yet so consistent, it's ridiculous.

That's the second time this game that CP3 has cried after the whistle to get a call changed.

Just ridiculous how the refs cater to that.

Now that's the speed and athleticism we need right there. Down the floor and layup in 4 seconds from Bayless.

I've said it before but I really like the style of play the Grizzlies pursue. It's old school and fundamental and a refreshing departure from most of the rest of the league's run and gun, everyone is a 40% three point shooter + a couple superstar wunderkinds, point guard heavy play.

Zach Randolph is awesome to watch in the post and his chemistry with Gasol is really good. Bit like Pau and Bynum when they were clicking(rare though it was due to injuries)

Sucks that Griffin is injured though, what the hell is with all of these injuries? I may not like Biff that much for his flopping and egotism and demeanor on the court but still, it's lame to see a playoffs that has become so hobbled by injuries.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and ask....is Chris Paul REALLLY THAT THAT good ? Like he has the talent...the flashes..those showtime passes ..but when it matters in the playoffs, hasn't he ALWAYS come up short? or not show up to CP3 standards? Happened with New Orleans and he got a pass for it when he had an average squad but still played with an Allstar David West..but now? if he loses this year to Memphis..is he really that good when he doesn't perform in the post season?

i had him on my fantasy team all year. elite thief, increased offensive production (even before rudy gay was traded). just a super-solid pg bordering on stud.

Impressed by the Grizzlies and their disciplined half-court sets and timely shooting... and their grind it out defense. Gotta respect that.

And Z-Bo stepped up big time when Marc got in foul trouble.
