West 1st round (3) Denver Nuggets vs (6) GS Warriors

How the hell do you defend Curry? All he does is toss the ball from the three point line and just drains it..

Dre Miller. Old man game.

As therealdeal usually says -- you put pressure on him and maybe his ankle will give up.

Dre Miller looked like he's 50 when they interviewed him :man10: ..

Not a very pleasant game to watch , too much bricking and GS players were completely out of control and didn't play a smart game at all ... Lee may be done for the series too

Happy that Miller is lighting up some other team this year.

Exactly. Like most young guys these days, he's not very durable. Don't try to hurt him, but play him physical and keep him off the three point line as much as you can. I'd rather he hit a 2 pointer in your face than a 3.

Then you kind of hope his ankle feels sore at some point.

David Lee out for the rest of the year with a torn right hip flexor.

Not surprised at all, the way he was running up the court after that free throw and then the look on his face of pain and shock I knew it wasn't good.

And with him goes any hopes the Warriors had of moving past the Nuggets.

I don't think the Warriors had a chance anyway, but with David Lee gone for good I don't see them as havig chance in hell.

Steph Curry is insane. He shot is just lethal.

Curry with one arm would be a better shooter than half our team.

I always liked his game, but I thought his ankle was a concern.

Anyway, very impressive win by the Warriors, especially without Lee. Curry had an awesome 30/13. :man4:

So the Warriors just scored 131 points despite 17 TOs in 48 min ... ok :man10:

Warriors are truly a fun, young team to watch. Tonight was all about an offensive exhibition and team unity because of their lost All-star in David Lee

steph curry is on the verge of breaking out as an nba star the same way he broke out in the tourney as an ncaa star with davidson. seriously this guy is crazy good. if he can stay healthy and put his early ankle problems behind him then he's got quite a career ahead of him

I, personally, would not call this sort of basketball in the playoffs entertaining. It was entertaining in the way an All-Star game is entertaining, on the surface for the offense and nothing more. This isn't how I like my playoffs, for me the Bulls/Nets game Monday was a much better game.

If Curry and Thompson stay this hot...we may see an upset in the first round. Denver needs to win game 3 otherwise I think Warriors are winning this series in 6 games.

I'd trust a blind folded Curry chucking 3's over wide open Meeks, Metta, Clark, etc. just to name a few :man10:

Stephan Curry is Tony Parker with a jump shot. The sky is the limit for him as long as his ankles don't turn to dust.

This has become the most exciting series of the playoffs so far. Tonight's game had a game 7 of the Finals atmosphere with unbelievable play from both teams down the stretch and a damn near miraculous half-court buzzer beater from Iggy (hit the side of the rim).

GS will probably win the series seeing as how they nearly won the first game and have won the next two, but it's still been a very entertaining match-up, pretty much the only worthwhile series so far.

It's exciting but the total lack of composure and execution down the stretch make both teams look amateurish ... Lots of bonehead plays , especially on Denver side and basically no D is played for most of the game ...

Insane arena atmosphere though and yes it's still very fun , especially if you compare it to our non athletic scrubs

I'm so glad that George Karl is getting absolutely EXPOSED as a HORRIBLE coach in these playoffs. What reason did he have to leave Andre Milller in the game in the 4th quarter? 2 for 13? Are u joking me? What is he doing taking 13 shots in the first place?! This is the problem with Andre Miller...he hits a game winning layup, but he's gonna lose you more games than win you games. Karl is one of the most overrated playoff coaches of all time...and yes, he has a LOSING RECORD in the playoffs (79-103)...what a "great" coach. Denver has more than enough talent to get it done, Karl just can't figure out rotations.

Melo, JR and K-Mart are all laughing OUT LOUD right now saying "I told you so".

i think karl is overrated as a coach, too. his teams routinely look foolish on the floor. everyone blames player stupidity, but some of these things are hallmarks of poor coaching. i do think he's a good motivator, though, which is a pretty important part of being an nba coach. but strategy? adjustments? meh.

it's one of the reasons why i've said all year that denver was overrated and ripe for a 1st round upset.
