I'm glad Harden stunk it up tonight. Now I want him to get white hot for this series.

The Harden vs. his former team story will be plastered everywhere and I'm already sick of hearing about it.

Pulling for the Rockets here. They have some good depth, youth, and athleticism to keep up with OKC in a foot race. But then they can also stink it up and go stretches where nothing is working for them like tonight (even before Dwight went Hulk mode on D). If they're 3 ball is falling it could be something other than a snoozefest. Personally I'd consider anything outside of a sweep a win for Houston.

This one is going 6 games....the Rockets can get HOT on offense, and I expect that to happen at least 3 times in this series...with 2 of them turning into Rockets wins. OKC will win, but the Rockets are going to give them everything they got.

Can't wait to see these two young, athletic teams go after it and for us to not have to worry about OKC. I will be rooting for the rockets as well. Both these teams at a lot of ISO basketball.

Can't wait to see Harden choke, dribble the ball for 20 seconds and then pass the ball to a teammate that has to throw up a prayer.

After seeing Harden try to flop his way on every shot he hoisted up that he knew had no chance of going in, I am not watching this series. The amount of FT's alone will just drag this series on for far too long.

Houston is going to get rocked. They actually play similar basketball, but at a lesser level. Fast pace, lots of threes, athletic ball...

It'll be like OKC vs. their D-League team.

Thunder in 5.

And I believe they will shut James Harden down. 41% from the field. 23 ppg.

OKC in five. They have a capable defender in Sefalosha to counter Harden. They have no one that can counter Ibaka on both ends. All this not even mentioning the duo of Durant and Westbrook. Parsons and Lin can keep both Thunder stars on their toes defensively but it won't be enough... It will be a high-scoring and entertaining series albeit a short one.

This series is going to be really high scoring...

Harden will see his limitations...he can't do it all for the Rockets.

Thunder in 5 unless McHale pulls some coaching out of his a**

Rockets win one of their games at home...then get routed out in OKC

This.

The Rockets have some potential to upset the Thunder, and I'd much rather have the Rockets than Thunder. :man12:

Thunder are the clear favorites not only to win but to repeat the WCF and even the Finals. But really, of the first round matchups that could potentially upset them, Houston is it. If they were facing the Lakers, sad to say it'd probably be a 4-0 sweep, but against Houston I think it will be a hard fought series regardless of what the final W-L is, e.g. maybe it turns out to be 4-1 Thunder but you can be sure they'll all be close games.

Thunder in 5. Houston has no counter to Durant but OKC can stick Thabo on Harden. Honestly if this series isn't a sweep I'd be shocked but I'll still go with 5 to be on the safe side.
