I don't know that I'd go that far. Memphis got down 0-2 to the Clippers and still won, and even lost game 2 on a Chris Paul buzzer beater, they don't get knocked down that easy.

Memphis choke this game away ... if you can't feed the post down the stretch , play through Marc in the high spot ...instead of this :Prince attacked Porkins on the PNR switch and threw a left hand hook runner he probably never made in his career and then high PNR for Conley ...

Dooling and Daye shouldn't see the floor too

Memphis can't be down about this one....Durant showing why he's a BEAST. Can't give him space....he's GOOD.

In OKC, and lose by two? Not bad. They should've had a better out of bounds play...but I think Hollins will adjust. They're going to have a better game plan for Durant on D and they'll squeeze out some wins.

Great series

Great series

I agree

KD better play like his life depends on it. He has to be point guard, shooting guard, center, and power forward lol. We see how a "Russell-less" Thunder team looks, just like LeBron in Cleveland. One player shouldering the load while his teammates stand and look confused.

Is Memphis a sleeper team to you guys? It's amazing to see these small teams without dominant superstars play so hard and win so convincingly.

Durant played great down the stretch..a true closer.

D-fish draining threes this postseason and also came up with the huge steal.

Yeah.. Fish has been money for OKC since Westbrook went down... Durant may be the difference in this series, because I think MEM is actually the better team... Durant is just the best closer on the floor.

It's too bad Memphis let this win get away from them, but I still think they'll win the series. Winning game 2 would be huge for them especially since they'll be heading back home for two games, but again if they don't it doesn't mean they're out. Just look at the previous series against the Clips.

Frustrating game to watch because Memphis in my opinion is clearly the better team. Kevin Martin will NOT be as good going forward because he's too inconsistent. Memphis will make the necessary adjustments.

Memphis should have won... they gave it away to OKC
There are two teams that play in the Staples Center:
the LA Lakers and NBA Clippers.

you can't help but to love Memphis they are playing great team basketball - D is superb ... and they are not that different from Lakers ... we are just slow and layz on D

Anyway Memphis one player away from being a force ... they just need some 2/3 offensive player - some reliable scorer ... too hard to find someone with some D along with that these days :D but watch out for next year ... they are gonna be deadly it not this year ... we will see

Memphis isn't down about this at all. They can be down 0-3 in this series and still roar back. That's how mentally tough they are.

Not like us who just concede an entire series after the first 90 seconds of game 3. :bang:

I thought Gasol should have taken that shot over Perkins in the waning seconds. Why he chose to pass it out to Conley was a mistake.

despite the ending to the game. Memphis looks like an entire different team from last year. I mean my goodness, they look better than OKC even the Heat sometimes. Gasol and Randolph have been insane for them.

My thoughts too. He got it in a nice spot too, it's not like they forced him way out.

He could have put the ball on the floor and made a move to the basket or taken a J.

Maybe scared of the moment? If so, just adds more fuel to the fire of Kobe Bryant.

Only that it has nothing to do with Kobe.

ESPN Stats & Info ‏@ESPNStatsInfo 6 Mai
Kevin Durant is 4-for-4 attempting go-ahead field goals in the final 24 seconds of 4th quarter in last 2 playoffs; rest of NBA is 2-for-23.

Fisher doesn't miss anymore.

But in his last few years with us, he was bricking threes everywhere. :bang:

Fisher's been playing extremely well. Looks like the rest + getting back in shape did wonders for him.

Put Fish on the Lakers and he won't be able to hit anything. But he'll compensate for it by playing awful D.
