I thought the Spurs would take this series in 5, I'm shocked how well the Warriors are playing, using their speed and athleticism to create for others, been a great first 2 games, I'd expect the Spurs to make a run here in the final 6; see is GS folds under pressure again.

Warriors are impressive. Didn't get too low after blowing GM 1, came back and played a very good game.
Klay Thompson can BALL.
Spurs are gonna have their hands full if they want to take a game @ the Oracle.

The warriors score more at home. I think their problem will be to get that 4th win. They can beat the Spurs but they showed in both games now (and the Den series) that they are subject to making a ton of mental errors in the second half of games. Game 3 will be huge for them now that they have stolen HCA.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

It will be interesting if the Spurs can get the HC back considering that Oracle is an absolute madhouse.

SAS is very lucky to not be down 0-2 ... I don't think the Warriors will win this series but they should ... SAS is totally outmatched and there is little they can do about it

Yup. The change in rules that allows the perimeter guys free reign is setting loose the pure shooters of the NBA. The rules were supposed to help the Wades and LeBrons and Roses of the world, but instead the Currys and the Thompsons and the Westbrooks (when healthy) are lighting it up. It will be exciting to see what happens.

Crazy to think that the Warriors are a blown defensive rotation away from being in position to possibly SWEEP the Spurs.

They still are in really good position though.

that's been my feeling watching the first two games. I still think SA will take it, mostly because of HCA/veteran poise, but GS appears to be the better team. too many mental lapses, though. especially on offense. but their d down the stretch was pretty tight, imo. shut down driving lanes on ginobili and parker and stayed with shooters. I was surprised the spurs didn't milk timmy more, but we are to game 6 of the playoffs for SA, and Duncan and Ginobili seem to wear down fast. always better to catch this old team later.

And with no David Lee at that. I'm not going to say their injuries are worse than ours but I will say that THAT is how you respond when a teammate goes down.

before the playoffs began, people were saying a Spurs-Thunder was inevitable...funny how things work out...Memphis-Warriors would also be one hell of a series

Stupid Warriors in Game 1. They should 2-0 now and have a chance to sweep Spurs at home.

The bounce pass Tim Duncan just threw was pretty amazing for a big, leading the break and on the run.

Weird to think this series could just as easily be 3-0, Warriors. The Spurs haven't exactly inspired a ton of confidence that they can put the Warriors away so much as the Warriors themselves tend to do enough stupid things on any given night to put themselves away. Which, sure, give the Spurs credit for having composure and all, if any team in the league has composure it's the Spurs, but still, the Warriors have looked correct every game this series save for having a stretch or two where they bunge things up.

Of course they can as they match up really well with Miami. They certainly have the perimeter defenders to give Wade & Lebron fits, o and not to mention they have the best C & PF combo in the game right now in Marc & Zack which just so happens to be Miami's biggest weakness which is front court players.

Between all the teams left in the West, MEM definitely the team that has the best shot at beating MIA, and please don't say the Spurs. Spurs wouldn't be able to beat them.
