Wasn't Larry Hughes playing back-up PG sometimes? Or was he staying at SG?

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

this year hughes will be starting at the sg, looks like the only reason they let whitney go was because MJ didn't want him, but now MJ has left so I guess they wanted him back.

now the Wizards have got Gilbert Arenas, Juan Dixon, Chris Whitney, Steve Blake and Larry Hughes--all guys who can play point guard.

I think the Whitney signing was alright. He had a bad season with Denver and real sparingly with Orlando (with awful clear-cut shooting percentages) but as a backup he may cut it. You never know about veterans. They just bounce up numbers after a horrible season. :man1:

well most likely hughes will move back to the 2, and they will have blake whitney and dixon off tha bench, with dixon backin up tha 2 spot, and whitney and blake backin up arenas

Hughes will be the backup 2 for Jerry Stackhouse...

Wizards Starting Lineup:

PG: Gilbert Arenas
SG: Jerry Stackhouse
SF: Jarvis Hayes
PF: Kwame Brown
C: Brendan Haywood

That's alot of young talent, not to mention Jared Jeffries, Larry Hughes, and Juan Dixon...

arenas
hughes
stackhouse

haywood

thats what it said on NBA.com one time...when they were prediciting their staring lineup..but i thot kwame would definetly start next year...

but i think jeffries and dixon will have productive numbers next year
