BDG, you were probably one of the best admins I've ever seen on a forum. Worked hard, cared solely about the success of the forums and the members who posted on them. I also want to share what the others have said. Great work BDG, thanks for all your help and time given to me to assist me in the things I need. You've been a huge part of CL for these 5 years, and like you said, it will only continue to grow - we are all appreciative of your work and care to make this place the best Lakers fan site ever.

Also, just wanna add that JSM is a very ideal choice for the job, both of you have done a great deal of work for this site.

great admin, great guy, great basketball knowledge...I really can't say how much I appreciate BDG

and with you and L4L we have to major players that lack the time to be active here.

I have no doubt that J will get it done, but its still a major blow for this community. We are losing 2 from the creme of the crop. And while I don't intend to ever retire from CL, probably my time will be limited as well in the future as I have said in the past. I feel like the last few weeks, I haven't done enaugh to justify "moderating".

so we have so many great guys (DA, Vash, L4L, BDG, pbhatta,...) that simply don't have the time to visit CL on a regular basis...unfortunetly it seems like I might be the next one...my time is beyond limited right now. Only way I visit CL right now is to wake up an hour earlier and sleep an hour later...I don't know how long I can keep it up. Sure I won't retire but maybe free up my spot in the staff for guys with more time, knowledge and better attitude than me. I will do everything possible to keep this chapter of my life open as long as I can.

I didn't intend to hijack this thread by any means...it should be all about BDG and his contributions for US and this community...

but with great members (friends) leaving...it gets tougher to keep the fire.

We should all support JSM as much as we can...he is good, he is very good and he is great. But he is not super human. He can't do what he has done AND do everything BDG was doing...
