As long as the MOD's keep doing a great job CL will continue to grow.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

But I agree, the thread is about celebrating 9,999...er... 10,000 quality posters here at CL! No need to let a simple identity theft derail such a wonderful accolade. Still amazed by it actually.

Whilst I fully agree 10 000 is an impressive number, it would be even more impressive if we had 10 000 contributing members.. more so if we had 10 000 intelligent posters!

There's a saying about volunteers and pressed men.. I feel there's some analogy here with contributing members and logged accounts, but don't feel quite smart enough to put it together!

Why don't we bump off members who've never posted or not posted in 12 months to get a more accurate figure and a smaller user list to browse through!

Guys, why don't we just forgive and forget? if not forgive, just forget and move on period.
the past is the past. it is what it is. if you don't like someone or something, just TRY avoiding it/him/her or better, ignoring it/him/her... the less we can have of this, the better for all...
there's no need for that stuff. i know easier said than done, but it'd be nice if we could just try. anyway, dropping that.
