People usually have a habit of going off topic when it comes to race and nationality. I remember a thread about some Laker's girlfriend which turned into a race debate afterwards. It just leads to more negativity on the forum.

10K! woot woot!

Oh and Chicano, bbs = bulletin board system. What they used to call forum/chat areas before the internet was around and you dialed directly from your pc to the bbs. A big one might have had a couple hundred telephone lines for people to connect on.

And to add to that, Kroubles, boba101 and kwamemvp each have a ton of accounts so keep that in mind as well. :man10:

Congrats, CL.

You guys have come a long way. I remember when I initially hit the basketball message board scene 5-6 years ago, CL while big had some glaring issues with it's overall structure and the way members were posting.

This site/board has come a long way. The mod team does such a brilliant job, and the constant improvement over the years has been very pleasent to see.

I'm seen as Mr. LG by many of the CL'ers, but I love lurking and posting at this place too. 10,000 is an indication of how you guys have made this place one worth being part of.

Well done !

Here's to 10,000 more as the Laker nation grows :jam2:
