Forums are turning into junk.

Needless to say, the forums are turning into junkyard spam. Some of the news are old...

MODS, ever heard of deleting old stories instead of locking them?

I know people like to take a look back at history by reviewing the old sht, but all this mess is making the forum look bleak, especially the flame wars. I say you take into deleting bad posts and save the good ones. If the poster of the thread fights back then you say that you got a right to do it, because the thread's crap and all.

rydjorker121 has a point. I'm not against deleting the flame wars, especially if it was vulgar enough to cause an ejection. Feel free.

On the other hand, I don't want to smother the freedom of members to post news stories/rumors because the possibility of repetition. I don't expect everyone to read every thread prior to participating.

The solution is to have one prestine category -- a news forum. rydjorker121, as soon as you are ready to build it full time say the word -- pm me. I have a few other volunteers prepared to assist on a part time basis.

The only one I see complaining is jorker.

i disagree, these forums are great. every now an then some member will post something incredibly stupid. but thats where the mods need to step in.
