Howbout' a new policy?

Since we keep getting these Chinese spambots that come and tell us about new Jordan shoes all over the forum why don't we make a rule where you can't reply to these threads because all it does it bump it, give it more attention, and keep that crap on top of real threads. I hate when people bump it telling the guy to F off or to go to hell or telling him his shoes aren't real. Bumping is the last thing you want to do with these threads.

Just an idea...

I don't think it's that big of a deal. It's not like they are going to profit from us making fun of them.

Not an official response but, just my take.

My take is I wo uld like everyone to follow that but, at the same time I don't think I would give anyone a warning if they decided to comment in the thread. Most likely it will be locked shortly after it's posted.

That's the problem, I see a lot of them open for a while. I don't know if the mods have been busy or if there's just been more of them lately but I've been seeing more of them for open longer.

Sometimes we just miss them ( I think one time I pass right by one in LD) or they come in at a gap where there is no one on.

Also a few of them have gotten sneaky going in areas which aren't as big. Like one bot went on the purple carpet for instance. Best thing to do is report so we will know.

Their threads get locked anyways due to the fact that they are new and arent aware of the posting rules. I would say something like a limit of 30 post before making any threads.

Maybe LD maybe NBA discussion however in the other forums there are plenty of topics that need to be made.

IMO not even 5% of the potential threads have been started. As long as the Lakers play games and as long as there are issues to discuss, there will always be threads to start.
