Image in the signature?

Image in the signature?

Postby LA_Lakers_Rule on Sun Aug 03, 2008 4:55 pm

Can someone tell me why in the signature all I get is the link description instead of the actual image?

I had first entered the path to a gif image and though maybe only jpg images work so I tried that and still I only show the path to the image.

I see others that have an image in their signature...

Are there limitations to what kind of image? (jpg, gif etc).

Any other limitations?

I didn't see anything that would explain why mine doesn't work in FAQ...

Thanks for the help.

I'm moving this to the suggestions/comments. Can you type the exact code you're inputting? change the square brackets to angled ones so we can take a look?

I have just typed in exactly what you see in my sig:
http://users.isp.com/mjs1/lakers/images ... osmall.jpg

And it shows up as a link in my sig as you see in my posts.

Maybe I need HTML "on" I noticed it is "off", I'll try that.

Addendum:
That's interesting... there's something I don't understand.

I have HTML code set to "always on" in my profile but in the Options: it shows HTML is OFF

Options
HTML is OFF
BBCode is ON
Smilies are ON

I'm not sure if that would be why my address path to my image just shows as a link rather than the image itself anyway.

I'll continue to look into this.

Thanks a lot (that was fast I just posted) I'll give a try... I guess then HTML "OFF" has nothing to do with it?
