Still not totally done ... this gives you an idea of the color scheme we're going with, but there's a couple things background-wise that need to be adjusted (i.e. everything meshing together.

No way. The gold wouldn't pop nearly as much. It's great as is... The only thing that needs to go is the scanline overlay that all the logos have. Those are pretty terrible.

I may be one of the few that does not like it. Just do not like the black even though it makes the laker colors pop out at you. It may take time to get used to though.

I have to admit that even though I'm not too fond of the new color layout, it does have a similar theme to that of Staples Center.

This "Lights Out" theme shades away the peripherals and truly showcases the main event: the discussion forums.

The middle is light, while the border is dark. The "Lights Out" concept works and isn't bad as I thought it would be. I just like the feeling of being completely entrenched in Laker colors (as it was before) better.

Great job Chief. It is definitely growing on me.

love the new look, ONE suggestion. perhaps completely unrelated.

Can we have a font color that matches the background of the forum? I was trying to post spoiler esc info in a movie discussion thread and wanted to hide the spoiler information so that the movie does not get ruined for other, the closest to the background we have is white, which doesnt quite do it...
