Obnoxious pop ups and Wii ads

Way obnoxious Clublakers, you can't control the voice over for the Wii ad, which means everyone at work can hear it. Stop already.

turn off the sound on your computer

Well, buy a Wii and there won't be any trouble.

Use Firefox and get ABP....problem solved.

Firefox makes my computer slow, hate it, and I shouldn' t have to do things like that, the site should respect us enough to not have sounds blareing without notice. And the pop ups from this site only somehow get through my pop up blocker. Annoying.

ya these adds SUCK and go on my nerves...I usually always have music running on my comp so I don't want to turn the sound off but then again this annoying adds drive me nuts.

I know Clublakers has dealt with the audio popup ads several times in the past. My question is why do they keep coming back every so often?

The ad networks are supposed to be filtering them out themselves -- I think sometimes it takes them a day or so to figure out their advertisers are delivering annoying ads. I'm going to hop in there to see if I can find anything that I can manually block.

If you ever find these ads, please email me directly -- clubalkers @ gmail.com so I can block them the same day they appear.

I saw some wii audio ads, but they were already turned off for us... I think they just slipped through for a bit.

I did a little cleanup on that pogo stuff -- if I thought it might have anything gittery in it, I shut it down.
