ok i know you wanna keep the number of forums down but...

can we make a forum just for Kobe and the whole trial ordeal?

im REALLY tired of seeing so many threads about it all over the place.. and its just something i feel that i'd want to avoid except for maybe a few tangents

it would only be temporary of course and it would help keep the mess down a lot

The ones who create new posts should just leave them in the original sticky theread, that's why it's on the top. Too many people wanna create new topics on the same issues, and we dont need more topics, they should post them on the original. I love their contribution though.

no because seriously look at all the posts, they are all about Kobe now... and no offense but i am so tired of it...

This is CL's call... All I know is Im LOCKING UP ALOT OF POSTS regarding Kobe and fowarding the Link to the main thread.

I don't know if a new forum should be created... But I think we do need another moderator or two for the SMACK FORUM.

I've always been turned off on the locking of topics for the reason that a similar thread exists.

We are approaching 1,000 replies to the stickied Kobe thread. If someone has a unique take on a topic, I can't ask anyone to browse through every post to determine if someone has made the same point or not. The Kobe situation is big enough that it deserves to be segmented and analyzed.

In general, it is easier for a user to make a point and view the responses to that point if they begin their own unique thread. This is the benefit of registering as a member, isn't it?

That's my opinion, but of course we'll be democratic about it -- what does everyone else think? Sound off...

Right, but ALOT of posts are coming out like "Kobe is innocent..."

I think we should add a Kobe forum, then I will move all the locked posts into it, and unlock all of them...
