What's wrong with the quote button? When I use it, it doesn't work properly.

Works fine for me.

For some reason, you can't embed quotes within quotes. So, when you reach about three...it won't allow you to quote anymore.

Three is the limit. It used to be a lot more. But three is the limit for quotes being embedded with each other.

that doesn't seem to be the case. I've seen people embed eight quotes within one post. Gotta be something else.

No. I saw it a few minutes ago.

Those are not embedded together. That's quoting each one separately, not all of them in the same one.

Why would you need to have more than three quotes embedded at the same time? It just stretches the page needlessly.

while it does stretch the page if the responses are long, it is kind of a pain to quote something, remove the quotes, and then try to add them appropriately within the limits and still get the point across.

while a little annoying, I suppose it is better than the old superstretch pages we used to have where everyone quoted just for the heck of it lol
