I can't!! I have to have them on for other things I need at work.
No offense to anyone but audio internet ads are just annoying.
You can't expect everyone to change the way they use their computers, just to accommodate this kind of problem!!

I love this site, I'm at home now and it is in my opening tab set. I've had to remove it at work and replace it with a competitors site. I love the Lakers and when I have time I like to check things out and see what's going on but not when it brings attention to me.

Come on guys, this is a big mistake. Look how long this thread is!

even if its not on the adblock list you can create your own filter for either add frames or add company urls.

if they adds are paying the bills i say leave em up, and if you dont want to hear em take the steps to block them...

Friday morning the 24th of August and I am still getting it.
I'm logged out at work and will not be checking in until I get back in the evenings.

This is a bummer.

I love this site guys but I just can't have this. I'll still check in occasionally but can't have it on all the time. It's getting me in trouble and just not worth the problems.

Good luck to everyone, ad-blocker is not an option for me either because, truth is, I run some ad campaigns on other sites and so far when I have tried ad-blocker, it is blocking me from my own ads as well.

I have to have sound for various work applications and I use flash for some design functions so I am not able to block the flash stuff either.

Seems like I have hit a dead end.

I'll keep checking in and if it is solved, I'll have you guys back in my start up tabs but not as long as there is audio.
