Anyone want "Boozer to L.A." Episode II?

From FoxSports.com:

The buzz is back about a deal that would send forward Carlos Boozer from Utah to the Lakers for Devean George, Caron Butler and Vlade Divac. It would free up the Jazz from the remaining $60 million of Boozer's contract, all three contracts end next summer, and would put Boozer next to Lamar Odom up front for the Lakers and new coach Phil Jackson. Just as this hit the rumor mill at the All-Star break, it's rolling again as Boozer's agent Rob Pelinka, who also represents Kobe Bryant, has tossed it out there again.

It's at the bottom of the page.

I don't see it happening though since according to our trusty worthy sources (like Emplay) George is going to Indy. Or could it be we get Bender and ship him straight to Utah for Boozer. God, if this comes through, I hope this doesn't screw up the 17th pick we get from Indy

You have to match salaries bro. Cook doesn´t work. It has to be Gump.

especially if we can see how Bender, 10th pick, 17th pick can work without giving up Butler, or giving up Butler for something else...Let the Jazz get desperate, we'll have a nice team regardless. There's no rush. (Maybe Brandon Rush in the 2nd round)

Didn't Boozer dump Pelinka after the whole contract fiasco?

Yes Rob was sacked by rehired by Boozer. It has to be something because he didn´t need an agent because he already had his contract. He is pushing for a trade.no question

man, i like boozer a lot...and i mean a lot. way more than most people on this board i think.

but that new speculated new orleans deal...where we get magloire and pj...i think id have to pass on boozer in exchange for 2 new starters, even though i like carlos better than either player, just not both.

For us PJ and Magloire >>>>>>>> Boozer.
We need defense and PJ and Jammal give us a great duo and with Odom and Kobe we would have the best rebounding team in the league. But that trade seems unlikely to happen.

If Mitch can make the New Orleans deal and this Boozer deal to go through, I'll be damned.

I highly doubt we're looking in that direction though. I think it's just smokescreen to raise Caron's value.

this is true. if I'm not mistaken we had the best defensive rebounding team in the NBA last year. or 2nd. i still dont know how that happened with chris mihm as our center.

:man3: If the NO deal happens the Boozer trade won´t happen anyway. I think this post was unnecessary.

Ya Sucky can´t rebound anything, Butler can´t box out and Mihm has butter fingers. With Magloire we get a legit double double player and with Magloire, Odom and Kobe we have 3 other great rebounders for their position. Our team won´t be the quickest team in the league but LONG, STRONG and perfect for the triangle. :jam2:

Sorry, I guess all other Lakers trade news are unnecesary as of today. I posted this late last night, way before emplay posted his article. Like know what was gonna happen. :bang:

I also forgot, speculations and hoping are a sin around here.

Ultimately this is all just Pelinka adding fuel to the fire. If Pelinka can relay this to Kobe, Kobe might whine to Buss. Though as history will tell us, Kobe doesn't have the kind of pull as people may think.

why dont we trade jumaine jones instead of george. i knoe i dont like seeing jones go but if we trade jones with butler and divac to jazz we could do da bender trade.

as much as i like boozer, the NO trade sounds slightly better.

PJ is getting old and boozer is just getting started. but with magloire and the 4th thrown in as well, i gotta go with this NO trade.
