Commercial Appeal - League insiders insist that the Grizzlies are still shopping the 19th pick as well as guards Jason Williams and Bonzi Wells.

With Wells, his $8 million team option must be exercised before Friday or he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

Detroit and Cleveland are among the teams that have expressed interest in a deal for Wells with his option. Wells's name has also been mentioned in Los Angeles in potential trades with the Clippers and Lakers.

I cant see why we'd pursue him unless he was part of a bigger deal.

the bonzi rumors don't make sense to me from the grizz's standpoint, either. they have a team option, and they don't like him. plus, he's overpaid. finally, they are trying to dump salary, not take more on. why pick him up and trade him? only reason would be something good coming back (not expiring contracts). i just figured they'd let him go.

from the lakers standpoint, bonzi would be fine in a deal basically identical to the bender deal (slava/george/2nd rounder for bonzi/19), but nothing else.

Bozi off the bench would be great fro our team or bonzi traded to a team like clev could suck up some of Z's salary

Bender, Green, Bonzi....its his goal to acquire as many small forwards as he possibly can....he's out of control!

we are persuing him im sure to play some pg...he is only 6'5, he could be converted into a pg....besides im sure the 19th pick is involved and he is the price we take to get that pick...but i think he'd be a great fit off the ebnch at either the pg, sg, or sf

wait a cotton pickin minute!! bonzi wells IS a point guard! he aint no SF! lol. he also plays some SG. when i saw this article, i was like "cool, bonzi would be a great pick up if he didnt cost much" i would take him for the MLE if Daniels is gone.

Is this "rumor" actually still going on?!? Im pretty sure its not! Memphis doesnt want any of our trash for Bonzi isnt Bonzi am SG we already got Kobe! If this was true give me a matching trade that would actually allow this trade!

Only reason memphis would be interested in anything in LA, would be because of Kobe and there is no way in hell we are giving him to Jerry.
