Listening now and I'm not hearing anything about this. Not just that, but it makes little sense for Charlotte. I'm going to give this a few more minutes then I'll lock or move it if I find it's not true.

I suggest an immediate ban when your first post is blatantly proven to be fraudulent.

Matt Barnes - "I respect all my opponents but I fear no one."

Deron Williams - “I hate ’em, you know,” he said the other day. “I hate the Lakers. They’re so good. I hate them because they win all the time. They’re a tough team. … We definitely talk about it. It’s not a secret. We hate the Lakers.”

Listened now for the last 20 minutes and I'm not hearing a single thing about the Lakers, Artest, or Gerald Wallace.

Moving to the Sourced Rumors thread.

Aha!
I found your source... its here: http://insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?s=42ed85b86503c898d8246025c9fa24e2&p=5432023&postcount=23

For those that dont want to click, here is the post by some random dude on insidehoops.com... just a personal thing for him, thats all.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4oryh8n

Ron Artest / Luke Walton
to the Bobcats for Gerald Wallace

Why the Lakers do it: Crash is a rich man's Trevor Ariza; he can defend the LeBron James of the world.

Why the Bobcats do it: Luke Walton is a triple double threat on a reasonable contract. Ron Artest and Michael Jordan have mutual respect for one another, even after Ron cracked some of Michael's ribs during prep for his 2nd comeback.

Plus these guys are cheaper and when Stephen Jackson is inevitably gifted; this will be a dirt cheap team.

What I got from his post: Next time someone cracks my ribs, I will respect him. And we should start Luke Walton over Kobe... if he has a good contract.

I had this trade idea before.

However, Ron goes to NY. Luke goes CHA.

CHA also receives Wilson Chandler and Anthony Randolf.

We get Gerald Wallace and Roger Mason (NY).

Works in TM. Think it'd be a soild switch, especially giving up Luke too.

I would do this in a heart beat. Artest and Walton for Wallace. Im not sure how many years Wallace has on his contract, but we have both Artest and Walton for 3 more years. Wallace is probably 2 or 3 years, but if we have to pay the salary anyways, might as well pay it for someone better.

You do realize this is fake right? Even as I read the title, I knew it wasn't true. Why would the Bobcats do this? Like seriously?

Ron, Blake, Luke, Bynum, Shannon, Caracter, picks, $$$, exemption for Wallace, Melo, Nebe/Martin, Mayo and little people.

Done and done.

Bucher brought up the Artest to Charlotte rumors on his podcast today along with the Melo talk. He said they were talking about either Wallace or Jackson. But supposedly Jordan's people contacted Artest to gauge his enthusiasm for Charlotte and Artest isn't very interested in going there. So it's likely this one won't go anywhere as Jordan will withdraw.

But still I am intrigued by either one: Wallace would be the anti-Lebron and anti-Pierce, that would be a great thing to have, that was supposed to be Artest's role. But Jackson while he isn't the defender that Wallace is, sounds good in his own way as he can shoot and pass, the only question being how well would he get the tri. If he got the tri, he would be an excellent wingman in it. Which is a consideration when remembering that Artest still isn't very good in the tri. I sorta think that Artest is beginning to outlive his usefulness and the Lakers may be looking to trade him sooner than later. Giving up 32 to Pierce certainly didn't help. The Boston game on the current road trip will be the bellwether...

Last add Bucher: a fair amount of the conversation on the podcast was thinking about contracts down the road with respect to having the ability to obtain Dwight Howard somehow.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
