If Chris Paul is on the Lakers radar, that means Phil Jackson is gone. Phil has NEVER had a top flight pg. His triangle offense is an anti- traditional pg offense. He's won 10 titles in Chicago & L.A. w/ B.J. Armstrong, Ron Harper & D. Fish. Offense flowed thru Pippen in Chicago, he was the top assist dog (over 6 apg), and things haven't change much on the Lakers.
If CP3 wants to join the Lakers 2 years from now, I'll be more than happy to welcome him, as long as he realizes he won't be the #1 scoring option. Teams w/ pg's as their #1 scoring option don't fair very well (Magic had Kareem & Worthy, Magic was at his best as the #3 scoring option). Just ask Oscar Robertson & Tiny Archibald, great individual stats, lousy teams which went no where.
