Lakers and Toronto?

The Lakers have reportedly asked about trading up with Portland at No. 3 for [Gerald] Green. Since Phil Jackson became part of the process, they're trying to trade up with Toronto at No. 7 for [Channing] Frye.

Lakers will nottrade anything for anything, this is final. anything you guys will say does reach the ears of the great GM that we have. NO one can say that we don't have the players that the other teams want, we do , but its us we don't wanna do anything .

where did you hear this? i just read on hoopshype.com that odds are the lakers dont get rid of the 10..and dont trade up. i'm okay with that..i like andrew bynum. also looks the the 17th pick isnt coming either. then again...this is the nba..so who knows..
