Lakers interested in Grant Hill?

^ this. Ariza was great for us, but honestly, he's far from irreplacable. LO is absolutely a higher priority, and it's not even close.

Hill should be acquired as a supplement to our starting SF, not a replacement. If we just sign LO and Hill, we're not in very good shape.

That's a terrific roster.

And I don't know why people are worried aobut Trevor. If he wants to go, that's his problem. Marion can do everything Ariza can do. And more.

I Rather have artest then marion, we need a defensive minded person out there with great perimeter shooting, artest is that guy.
other then that i agreet with it, artest for MLE and hill for vet min.

if trevor leaves, hell yeah
that would be a great move, i've always liked grant hill

Both of them do the same thing. Except Marion rebounds better. Other than that... same long range ability, perimeter D etc.

I too have always wanted him here since last year.....he's another one of those classy Vet. that deserves a chance at the ring.....Ron Harper anyone?

G.Hill ignore PJ's last season so probably there is some deep issue in the past or he just don't like the Lakers. Plus we do not have any luck with vets lately especially with a history of injury.

i had forgotten about that.

I like one thing about Hill... well, more then one, but this one is interesting: he's an elite mid-range shooter. Sucks from 3, but mid range is his game. We don't really have anyone on this team who does that. Except Kobe, but he's an exception to everything.

i can see artest coming to the lakers, he's really good friends with odom. so if you had a choice between acquiring a vet pg or sf who would you choose? kidd or hill?

i rather go with hill too, the triagle offense doesnt really need a true point guard ( the bulls 6 rings didn't have a true point guard or the lakers 4 rings ) hill would be a big boost off the bench someone that could possible take the starting position if someone gets injured.
