Nate Robinson shot 43% on the court this past season...Im not much of a stats guy but thats pretty good for someone your labeling a "Chucker" while farmar a pg who is surrounded by a team full of stars shot 39 percent...

So nate shot 43 percent which isnt bad and averaged 17 points...Id say its an upgrade...I dont really understand hes a pg/sg so u cant expect the dude to shoot in the 50's?

43% is awful unless he's a star player who's double-teamed constantly and has nobody else to pass to and has to force shots. SG's and PG's should at least shoot 45% or better unless they are 3pt specialists, which he is not. He shoots 32% from 3pt range, so that excuse goes out the window. If we're going to get somebody to replace Farmar, get somebody who actually is significant upgrade like Felton from the Bobcats or Heinrich from the Bulls.

Ya but hes an upgrade over farmar agree?? And it will require a sign and trade...SO farmar and yue for nate? I just think that farmar shooting 39 percent overall from court is unacceptable and u are saying nate at 43 is bad too? so farmar or nate revgen?

^No he's not. He's the same as Farmar. He won't get the other bench guys involved. He'll make awful decisions with the ball. He won't play any defense.

As I've said earlier Nate=Farmar. There is no difference. Period.

I'm not too thrilled about Farmar myself, but unless you are getting a true upgrade like Heinrich or Felton, then don't bother.

^ I agree that hinrich and felton are better options...But really how realistic is it to get felton or hinrich...Larry brown wont trade felton for farmar because hes a defensive coach and we all know how farmar is...

Felton is garbage...how anybody could want him on the Lakers is beyond me...

he is a chucker as well...he plays no defense either...he makes terrible decisions as well...

thats why every charlotte coach desperately wants him to play SG...but then again he is too undersized. If charlotte was happy with him, they wouldn't draft DJ Augustin and take minutes away from Felton who doesn't seem to have a work ethic and comes to camp completely out of shape every year.

BTW Nate is not the same as Farmar...they do have the same abilities and the same qualities or lack there of. BUT Nate can score 30 or 40 points on a hot shooting night...Farmar cannot. Nate is a lot more aggressive and a more polished scorer than Farmar. Nontheless I don't want either on my team.

yeah, we don't need anyone else to score 30-40 points when we have Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol in our team.

Nate on our team would be a great fit, since both parties seem to have Supermans kryptonite.

I'm just curious how interested we were (and how many other of the surprise lingering PGs on the FA market we talked to this summer). Cause that would have certainly forced Farmar to pack his bags, which would have made my entire season. I'm hoping it's a sign of a move coming in season. Hell, I'll fly to LA and pack Dumbo's bags for him. He'll have to get his own ride to the airport though, his ears won't fit in my Honda.

^ While I still think there'll be a deal for Farmar this season, I'm sticking to the idea that they want Shannon to be the next PG for the team. They gave him the solid extension, he's got the tools and the work ethic.

I still think they'll deal Farmar in a package with Morrison for an expiring.

I don't think we are going to get anything good for those two us the other GM is totally wasted.

Farmar is a very good talent, just not in this system. Here he's held back by too many rules. In Phoenix or New York (run and gun styles) he'd be great. Morrison is at worst an expiring 5 million dollars and at best a tall shooter.

They're definitely a solid package.

how can anyone want farmar over nate right now haha, that's jokes, and if we did get nate i would never use him as a starter he's pure bench mob material and a upgrade over farmar right now, if anything i wish we could trade farmar with ammo for a quicc pg and give us our legit 12 man squad yell
