However, if he doesn't, Drew Gooden is really not a bad option at all.

Statistically speaking ...gradymac wrote:yes yur rite hes not a "bad option"..........hes a horrible optionBDG wrote:I sincerely want Lamar Odom to return to this team.

Drew Gooden last season in Chicago before eventually getting shuffled to San Antonio mid-season: 13.1 ppg, 8.6 rpg
Lamar Odom last season: 11.4 ppg, 8.2 rpg
Both played 29 mpg.
In NO WAY am I arguing that Gooden is better or equal to Odom, but if he plays the same way when healthy, Gooden offers comparable statistical production.
So I fail to see how Gooden is a "horrible option."

He might not be bad. His stats remind me of another PF: Horace Grant. Although Horace probably had more of a b-ball IQ. If Gooden signed for the vet min that would be a great pickup!
