Ok would we rather do this or go for Garnett? I say Garnett, only because of Age and Injury history. Look at what the request may be for Garnett!
Don't be surprised to hear Kevin Garnett mumbling about his future address. The rumors around the NBA now are Minnesota would take a Shaq-like deal--three starters and a draft pick--for Garnett.
Which would you rather go for? Kidd or Garnett? Kidd has a history of making teams better with not too much talent around him. KG is the toal package but still hasnt made it happen.

^ AGREED. and I like having Garnett > Kidd for some reason. I know Kidd would be able to run our offense for us, but Garnett would give us that frontcourt edge that we desperately need to fill.
Either way, both players are more than a long-shot for the Lakers to get.

If KG is made available for trade, I say we go for him by any means necessary (aside from trading Kobe).LakersCourt wrote:Kevin would get along great with Phil. I just have this feeling, plus he and Kobe are the two hardest workers in the off-season, and the 2 best players in the game right now. We need that classic 1-2 punch. I stud from the perimeter(Kobe) one animal who grabs rebounds and blocks shots(Kevin). I am telling you know, If Phil came back, he would have it easier working with Garnett than O'Neal. Seats would be filled to capacity every night, and Kobe would get better looks from the outside, because we would actually have a player that commands a double team again.
Why the hell can't we just do this trade. It's not like we're ripping them off or anything. I mean Lamar Odom, Caron Butler, Chucky Atkins #10 pick
For Kevin Garnett.
Minnesota improves big time with this trade. They get Odom who is the versatile forward like garnett is.
You get Caron Butler who is going to be an ALL- Star
You get Chucky Akins.....ok next
You get #10 pick in the draft this year- Could be high enough for them to get Ray Felton, and really start again. Since they don't have any draft picks because of the Jow Smith thing, you think they would be all over this.
It works for both parties....why don't the dumbasses see this.
