Raptors to talk to Lakers about Bosh for Gasol swap???

Seen this article and thought I should sure with all the Lakers fans.

What do you guys think?? They mention the Lakers toward the end of the article.

Raptors would be better team, Lakers would be worst.

I like Bosh, a lot. He's having a bad year, but he is a great, great player. But he hasn't the pass ability and the overall BBIQ Pau has, that helps to put Lakers in another level.

^agreed...altho Bosh MIGHT be a better fit along with Bynum.

Pau is definitely the better player even tho Bosh has better statistics. More efficient and is a better passer. Also he is not injury prone like Bosh. Defensively they are both the same (not good) but Pau is more versatile because his game also allows him to play C while Bosh cannot easily slide over and play C.

The only reason why the Lakers would do this is because Bosh is 24 and with Bynum (21) they would be probably the best front court for the next 10 years.

But we want to win NOW while Kobe still has something left in the tank and I think Gasol's experience, knowledge of TRI and good attitude make this a no brainer.

comon please..bosh is arguably more soft than gasol even though bosh is more athletic.

Gasol is not going anywhere. It'll be like Shaq and Kobe years again. Ko-Sol isn't going to get split up any time soon.

hmmm. The Lakers would be more athletic, and perhaps better defensively with Bosh (he is quick and versatile like LO, but with a much better short and mid range game). He would play and fit better with Drew. With him and Kobe and Ron, they could easily become the best defensive team in the NBA.

But in the triangle, without a true PG, there is no better fit than Gasol.

I wouldn't mind it, now that the Lakers got the ring last year. And it would prevent Bosh from going to play with Wade, Bron, or Rose.

The Lakers arent trading Pau folks. Unlike messageboard people, they know who is the best between him and Bynum and Pau isn't being traded. I doubt Drew is, but I wish they would find a taker who would send back a PG and a big for him.
