Gerald Wallace is not as good as the other SFs mentioned, but that is good for us. why? because we can ask for Wallace + other players and/or picks

Wallace is one of my favorite players in the league...he goes right there where it hurts most...

he would bring athleticism, defensive versatility and he goes to the rim...

weaknesses are shooting and free throw shooting...and he isn't a great decision maker...his injuries are a huge concern as well....

I would like to see how the deal would be looking...Wallace is a lot cheaper than Odom so thats a good thing.

G.Wallace's game has really developed nicely the last few seasons, i remember the Lakers trying to acquire him last season, he's d is a big upgrade over LO's as well.

i'm a laker fan first and foremost but if lamar gets traded

we need a stickied thread that is a memorial for him

i will miss the hell out of that guy

he gave us 4 years of his whole body

he played through his son dying, his labrum tearing

this guy no matter how much you dislike his passivity on the floor

deserves 110% of CL and laker fans in general respect

The Bobcats aren't going to trade a young player like Morrison who still has loads of potential. Carroll, on the other hand, may sound like an ideal piece especially if management decides not to re-sign Sasha (longshot).

its somewhat a long-shot, there are much more realistic pieces that Bobcats could offer , but yeah if we get Carrol and Wallace somehow then I would be okay with letting Sasha go if he is offered more money elsewhere.

Yes they are willing to gamble on his health. Right now Wallace is #1 and the only 1 on the Lakers list.

The news is that if that happen then Luke whould be our backup, and only other SF on this team causing us to fill that hole with one of our expections or don't trade Ariza or even use Sasha in a sign & trade deal to fill a hole on the team.

if this guy is reliable and credible

then that means there is still a good chance lamar is a laker

this also adds credibility because mitch said they weren't looking to deal lamar

but if the bobcats called mitch with the guy they wanted oh so badly last year they would jump all over it

Fair enough.. Carroll or Morrison would be fine with me, personally. I just thought we'd need a shooter back.

why not just make it simple and do the

vlad+odom+58 pick for gerald and nazr+38 pick

we get more depth and a higher pick to grab george hill
