Rumor: Bobcats in serious trade talks with Lakers

i like the line "fun to speculate until we're let down tomorrow night" hahaha i like how all of us go insane tryin to think of what will happen but in the back of our heads pretty much all of us know probably nothing will happen hahaha

Ignoring those first three years and assuming that he was just a coaches decision DNP and not injured in any of those games.... In the past four years he was clearly not being benched because he wasn't good enough... Yet he has averaged just 64.75 games per season during those four also, or missing 17.25 per season. Face it, the guy is injury prone, where people were trying to claim he was not any more injury prone than Odom. You can make an argument for him being a better player, and worth the trade, but you can't use it on the injury excuse.

usually if its a trade that doesnt matter espn wont mention it but big trades we know about hours before stern announces it

just cuz the bobcats picked augustin doesn't mean this trade is off cuz most of these trades take place after the pick is done....sometimes later tonight or the next day....in fact, them picking augustin maybe gives this rumor more credence cuz they have raymond felton already and we need a future point guard...could be farmar but maybe not...

do i think this trade happens?...probably not but those who say it is a no go just cuz charlotte picked are wrong...

Most draft day trades involving picks are announced after the pick has been made. (The team who has the pick originally, is picking for the team they'd be trading to.) So I don't think people think this trade is off because of the fact that Charlotte picked. I think people are thinking it might be off because they picked a young small point guard when we already have Farmar.

^^^^well since gerald wallace would be the main prize i think so with the 9th pick you can take the best player available and i think augustin is it...
