Anyone have any names at all who will play for Lakers in Vegas? Is Coby Karl on the team? Anyone else? I wish Sean Banks would play.

Haven't heard any names but here is what Mitch had to say about the summer league team on 6/9...
Lakers.com: after the draft there's a little bit of a mad scramble to put together or put the finishing touches on your summer league team, which this year will be conducted in Las Vegas. Having said that, we almost have our summer league team completed now. We'll add our draft choice to that, which is at number 58, and then maybe someone else we like that wasn't drafted to our summer league team, even though it's almost completed now. The summer league program begins in the second week of July (11th-20th).

John Younesi, owner of the long-time Long beach SPL at the Pyramid, is planning to move the league to a major venue in L.A. He's shutting down this year's Long Beach summer league while working on the site shift.

I think John is really up against it. The Las Vegas movers and shakers lured all the NBA teams away from our local SPL, and I'm not sure how he plans on bringing them back to L.A.

Nice to know he's at least trying, but like you said, I agree, highly doubt it pans out, unfortunately.

put it near the beach somehow and I bet teams come running back. I know its vegas, but damn 110 degree nights? Too bad there aren't any large gyms near the beach.
