Well, if he only gained 10 lbs, and his numbers took a big jump like that, then that can only be very good, because that means he has room to add a lot more, and presumably his game improved correspondingly. Granted, it's only two games, but even his bad game on Saturday were better than his average last year(projected to 30 min, it would have been 18, 7.5, 3 blks and 9 fouls vs 12, 7.5, 2 blks and 4 fouls last year).

Well, he was 275 last year, 285 this year, so yeah it would stand to reason that he would look about the same. Right now, I would say that most of the weight in in the legs, which makes perfect sense, because you want your legs to be able to support the upper body weight, and most of the explosion comes from the calves anyway.

Like I said though, this can only be good news. The less weight he gains, yet the higher stats he put up, then the more potential he still has.

His head got smaller!

At this rate, it's going to be the size of a baseball by the time he cracks the starting line up!

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

when you're 18 you certainly can get bigger at an incredible speed. bynum looks like a tweener last year, but this year his chest looks like it is forming.

Also keep in mind that he has grown an inch since last summer. I think his natural growth also has a part in the mass he's gained.
