I'm just not interested in this years Summer Leauge. The Lakers just don't have the stock in it they did the last couple years. Last year we had Farmar and Critt two important pieces participating then Bynum and a slew of other players the years before.

Mata-Real with the offensive foul, then gets another at the defensive end. He does have big #s though.

Calathes has no poise and no awareness. He'll never play in a sysetm like the Lakers use.

Good D by Mitchell; gets the steal.

Taj Gray very actvie without the ball.

Great hustle play by Mata-Real but he just hacks the hell out of the dude on a breakaway layup.

Gray gets a pass underneath, but can't finish before Mata-Real commits a foul. 4th TO for him.

Mitchell hits a nice floater. He's the best PG prospect on this LA team.

Mata-Real toasted on D.

Gray bodies up, a bit late, but still affects the shot.

Roberts is a gunner. Drills a long two, possibly a trey.

Roberts doesn't know how to run a break and then Mata-Real runs into him...at the top of the key. Turnover.

Mata-Real has his crap packed and loses it. He really has zero skill. He's all hustle.

Roberts abused off the dribble. He has quick feet, but just gave too much room. He also hit a trey just before that.

Roberts hits another trey. This scares me a little. He's Shammond Williams-esque. Lakers might be interested. He did play well on the D-League team though.

Roberts is streaky. He's been off some games, hot in others.

Tomorrow's game is the final summer league game, right?

JSM my recap is they didn't look good at all tonight. Calathes got too much time in my opinion and Dunston has disappeared from the floor the last two games. I guess they are trying to give everyone a chance. The sub pattern tonight made this a tough game to win and they didn't.

Thanks guys.

I don't like the fact that Calathes or Caner-Medley each got 20 minutes. I understand they're trying to give everyone a shot, but I don't like either of their games, especially not for the Lakers.

Calathes was supposed to be THE hidden gem and at the top of the undrafted class. I'm not impressed. He finally got playing time and it looks like his J was way off, 2-10 FGs. If you're a point forward you've got to do better than that. Also only one assist (how did the team only have 9 assists? WOW!).

Caner-Medley is too out of control. You've got to give it to him, he hustles and has some hops. But his J has regressed since college and he can't do any one thing well.

Looks like Crawford struggled a bit with his shooting, but managed to get 5 FTs out of it. Was he attacking on most of his attempts?

I hope no one in the league is fooled by Mata-Real's 11 rebounds. From reading the posts and looking at the box score, sounds like he continued to hack away, all the way to 6 fouls. And lost the ball 5 times. His game is awful.

I'm hoping the reason Dunston has gotten back to back DNPs is that he's already earned a spot in training camp. If not and they've shut him down to look at other players, that's a big mistake.
