7/8 Lakers vs. 76ers - Summer League Gameday (Game 2)

Postby Critical Beatdown on Tue Jul 10, 2007 6:41 pm

We're actually looking pretty crisp on offense here lately, even without Farmar or Crit touching the ball.

Has Crit gotten a single J to fall tonight? They're all rimming out it seems.

Coby Karl anyone?

I like what I see.

Go Lakers!

exactly what can sasha do.

I said "Phil knows", not me.

:man10:

Just kidding, Sasha can handle the ball well, rarely turns it over, hits the trey, and is effective in pressure defensive schemes.

Thoughts on the game so far . . .

- Coby Karl can ball. I really see the Luke Walton comparisons.
- Farmar is dishing it well and has had a nice bounceback game.
- Javaris has shown some nice moves, but hasn't really found a rhythm. Hasn't tried to do too much in terms of shooting. I still like what I see.
- I like the team's overall hustle & effort.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

No. Seems like he's feeling the pressure to impress already.

Tough game to really scout since they're playing such great team ball.

It seems like Crit is one of those players that needs the offense ran through them to play well, though that can be said for a lot of guys.

Farmar has been as impressive this game as Crit was last game. Almost.

This might explain the last 3 years of this franchise.

Brandon Gay looks like an anorexic Shelden Williams.

They should put Farmar and Crittenton in at the same time.

White's downfall is his obsession with the mid range J, even when it's not falling.

He's got to attack the basket.

Does anyone else feel that "Crit" earned the opportunity to be in there right now the other night?

What do you all think ? Let us see what he can do.

Go Lakers!

I don't think he can

I haven't seen much of him since his first year in the league, but he could attack back then. At 27 it's hard for me to believe he's lost that much of his step to where he can only shoot pull up Js now. I don't know what's happened to the guy.

Louis Williams just beat Larry Turner (our best big, not saying much) on a jump ball and Farmar throws another lazy pass .. that happened in the the first game too
