It doesn't really matter who makes the Gameday threads for VSL games.

I think Carney will do more damage against us than Thad. He was on a dunking rampage yesterday.

to those for are question why farmar is doing so little out there and looking all passive

anyone could play a pick-up game anytime and any day at a local gym and do their own thang. however, it is very rare that in the summer, you get to practice the triangle offense in a real game situation.

Why not make use of this rare opportunity during the summer and work on the offense.

that why you see farmar coming down the court and just ran the offense. It would be stupid waste a great opportunity to practice the triangle and do his own thang, when he can do that some other time.

FYI this game is on NBATV, not just the webcast.

Too bad it's the only Laker VSL game on NBATV this year. :man5:

It will be nice to have commentators. I didn't like the PA announcer saying a word every 15 seconds on the webcast.

Oh awesome. Either they added it to their line-up or I missed it.

45 minutes until tipoff! Let's go Lakers!

Awesome! That's a late addition because last time I checked their lineup it wasn't on there.

^Same. If Farmar bounces back and Crittenton delivers another strong performance I'll be content.

i know kobe doesnt like to talk about the future but we have 2 young point guard that could be good players especially crittenton who has a big upside in 2-3 years of seasoning and experience

Damn, Javaris is a lot skinnier than I thought. Looks like he's already losing a lot of weight, good idea IMO.

Should be an interesting match up with Critt going up against Louis "kid 23" Williams. Both are from Atlanta and were both Mr. Basketball of their state respectively their senior year. Louis is/was a big time scorerer in Atlanta along with Georgia Bull dog and future 1st round draft pick Mike Mercer out of South Gwinett High School. Louis IMO is actually a lot more talented then Monta Ellis who both are from the 2005 class and Louis who was rated as the best player in the class is much more athletic and has more tools to work with than Monta. I expect Louis to have a break out year this year similiar to what Monta had last year.

Critt is already a fan favorite amongst us CL'ers. He was the best player in the state of Atlanta his senior year. Averaged 28 pts, 6 rebounds and 8 assist. IMO there's a lot more to this matchup that meets the eye. I'm sure all of Atlanta and everyone who's familiar with both Louis and Critt are keeping an eye on this matchup closely.
