12 points, 2 boards at the half. Not bad, Adam.

Griffin-16 points on 6-6 FGs
Ammo-12 points on 5-10 FGs
Elonu-game high 7 fouls, Laker high (T) 1 assist, 5 points, 4 rebounds

David Monds has looked like our 2nd best player offensively today (6 points, 3-5 FGs). Either him or Alan Anderson (6 points), who's done a nice job of getting into the lane and drawing the foul.

i'm impressed so far by adam's ability to shoot with a man in his face.

but i'm not impressed with the fact that i saw him on two seperate occasions not put his hands up to contest a jumper... i dont know if it's just cuz its summer league or he's taking possessions off.... or 'cause he's diabetic. but that non-effort doesn't fly with me.
with all the ANKLE injuries, the lakers should change their name from the LOS ANGELES LAKERS to:

the "Los Ankleless Lakers!"

ahhhhhhhahahaha.

trodgers wrote:Well, the Lakers can't do much if it's not Morrison shooting. He can get off his shot all over the place. That's impressive. He has 8 of their 11 right now. And he's on the pine, I think.

I'll go out on a limb: Elonu's not making it. 5 Fouls, 2 TO in 7 minutes.

You are probably right. In fact, I am sure you are right, but when A&M and OU played the two guarded each other and it was very competitive. LAC has Gordon, Jordan (Who gave Bynum all he wanted and more in one game) and Griffin so Elonu isn't as bad as he looks tonight. I saw him play about 5 games this year and if the talent level was close and he was asked to go on Griffin one on one it wouldn't be as bad as it is tonight. Not disagreeing with you, just saying don't completely judge Elonu on this one game
A player i would like to see a little more of is David Monds, he has played pretty well in all 3 games to this point.

Come on Ammo, you got to be able to take it to the rim against NCM. Nice redemption 3 though. :jam2:

Yeah and he couldn't buy a FT Saturday or he would have been in double figures

McCauley is showing some nice range. Not much else though.

Bad 3rd quarter for adam. He now has 15 points on 40% shooting.

Sean Banks is on the Clipps team. I really like him. He was a scoring machine when he was on the D-Fenders. I think under the right coach and veterans, he could develop into a nice player...eventually.

Guess Cuban has jumped into hunt for Lamar, but no way he goes to Big D for MLE.

This LA team has won 2 more summer league games than I thought they would though. The two teams they beat had far more NBA experienced players.

Yeah I would like to see him get extended minutes some game. He has looked pretty good. Will battle inside and has nice midrange jumper.

Reggie gets the steal and layup. Not a very good game for him tonight.

Just as I say that, he scores again. He can sure fill up the stat sheet in a hurry. But unfortunately, I think that's all he'll ever amount to -- a scorer. And not a good enough one to get him a NBA gig.
