You can tell that hes been working on his shot. And he said that

Caracter is getting double teams every time he touches the ball.

I was just reading that we still have 5 roster spots to fill. Every spot will cost double for salary cap purposes. The writer of the article said Ebanks and Caracter will make the team almost strictly because of this and Mbenga and Powell will be gone. The Lakers could sign Ebanks and Caracter for about $450,000 each but Powell and Mbenga cost 1 mill each x 2.

In short, some of these guys that stink will be at trainig camp and potentially make the team.

Ebanks is encouraging because he has a game that is simply effective. For some players, it just seems like things go better when they are in the game, even if they are not playing particularly well.

I think when the Lakers and Kings play, the Caracter vs Cousins matchup will be intresting to watch.

I had hoped that Ebanks and Caracter would be succesful, but, they look like they could step in and be the 7th/8th/9th guys on the roster.

Powell & Congo Cash would be a waste of money and space. I hope Kurz's injury isn't bad. Someone needs to take advantage of this opportunity.

i think Strawberry can play Pg in our system -- he's improved his shot over last year. And Kurz looks better than Luke, but hope his neck is ok.

I think Ebanks, Character and Strawberry make the team and we wave goodbye to Powell, Mbenga and of course Ammo. Perhaps Critt is a camp invite and can replace Shannon. Jabaar im not so hot on, but he looks OK out there.

Jabaar looked TERRIBLE against a legit NBA PG in Ty Lawson.

Strawberry looked decent at times. I agree with you when you say the he COULD POSSIBLY MAYBE run the point in the triangle.

Ebanks and Caracter are both Locks for the Regular season Roster now, in my opinion.

I just finished watching both games and these two rookies are pretty impressive considering where they were drafted. EBanks looks like Ariza, but noticeably slower and less athletic.

exact same thoughts i had for those 4 players.

however, like you, i want strawberry to make it just b/c he hustles really hard out there (big props to the fast break he stopped from behind, no quit attitude) but you also have to recognize that his talents just aren't up to par with everyone else no matter how hard he tries. he'll work hard but let's be honest, he's just not that good.
