In 2006-07, he averaged 11.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 78 games and was named to the NBA’s All-Rookie Second Team.

I'm very curious to see how Rochestie does. This kid keeps defying his critics and is tough as nails. Especially in critical points of games. Al in all, an interesting squad. I wish the games were still at The Pyramid.

This will be good for Morrison. He is obviously the go to guy, should put up 20+ a game.

Morrison will get a chance to show Lakers what he can do. If he gets his shot back LA may keep him but otherwise could see his expiring K moved.

Will the Lakers expand the roster from 13 if somebody looks very good in the summer league? Could they sign two guys for minimum and send them to the D-league?

have we officially given up on Yue?

WTF is he doing? the summer league should have HIGHEST priority for him..

To be honest, they have to make a decision on him Aug 1 and I think they may terminate his contract. No inside or anything, but to carry 13 I don't see him making it any way. If he had stayed here and played in this and done well then maybe so.

no doubt. I got down, probably unfairly,on Sun last year when Jordan got hurt and Derek had to play 40 plus minutes. He couldn't even help a little. They say Elonu would have been first round pick next season. I would like to see LA carry 14 including Elonu and let him play for D-Fenders and see how he does

Sure they could, but I doubt they do. HOwever, Mitch said he was carrying 13 last year too and didn't.

Sun Yue is currently with the Chinese National Team.

Basically when China wants their players to play, they have to show up or bad things might happen. Most likely Lakers can just have him try and earn a spot during training camp.

He is but I think what KB24 was talking about was the fact LA asked him to stay here and play alongside Morrison on the Summer team. He decided not to and that may have not been the wisest thing as far as NBA career for him. I guess we shall see.

Sun Yue has no NBA future anyways. He seems like a nice kid but he just doesn't have NBA level talent. He can play professional ball somewhere though, the best of luck to him.

Well my point was that it wasn't exactly his choice to make. There wouldn't be a need to speak to Chinese officials if it was solely Sun Yue's choice. It's not the same choice like a US player can make, where the player can decline a request to play for the national team without considering that there might be consquences.

Yeah I understand what you are saying. I was just saying irregardless of that, it isn't going to help him when it comes to making the Lakers roster if they truly plan to only carry 13 players. If the resign Shannon and can't get rid of Farmar, it may not matter any way. Numbers may have caught Sun either way. Mitch likes him so maybe I am wrong and he will be on the team.

Mustafa Shakur

Is who i think could be a PG for the lakers.
I remember watching him in college and he showed good potential.

Im not sure if he will show what he needs to in a Summer league
I think he fits the lakers very good though, a big PG that does not need the ball in his hands all the time

Mustafa Shakur? Didn't even know he was on the team. I used to love watching him play at Arizona and was a fan of his but he doesn't have the talent to play in the NBA.

And no, he isn't related to tupac.

Completely agree and if I added a fourth it would be Alan Anderson.
